I really should check SASR daily, it will help with continuity.

So at this point I am on my third day in West Springfield. Third 8 hour day @ $11.

Tomorrow is another 8/1 day in Glastonbury, CT.

I sign up for a job in Riverside, CT for 8/2. $13 an hour, but more than 50 miles from Riverside and too far to camp in Northampton. This will be my first day/night "on the road" so to speak.

There is an Anytime Fitness 12.1 miles from Riverside in Wilton, CT. I can work out and shower there. I can sleep in the parking lot of a nearby mall or box store. Since I work overnights, no one will be suspicious of a car parked there during the day.

At the end of the Riverside shift it will be labor day weekend. I can't find any work within 100 miles of Riverside yet for the week starting 9/6, everything seems to start on 9/18. I will re-center my search around MA for a bit, its likely that I would visit friends and family over the labor day weekend. Plus, my hypnotherapy training starts 9/11 for 8 consecutive Sundays, so I don't want to go too far away.


Starting 9/12 there is a solid 5 day gig in Leominster, MA for 8 hours each night at $11. I sign up for that. I will stay in Lowell, I will miss my hims by then. Maybe we will be working together on this one.

I need to remember that there are other folks snatching up this work as soon as it is found as well, so I should be more pro-active signing up as far in advance as possible for the jobs, that is probably why so few jobs are available before 9/18, everyone else has signed up for the new several weeks.

There is 2 days work in Lehighton, PA for 9/6 and 9/7 for $10 per hour. 2 days work in South Burlington, VT for 9/7 and 9/8 for $11/hr. There is a 2 month position in Portland, ME for $11/hour starting 9/5, but it requires that you be able to lift 40 lbs. I don't think I'm ready for that one yet, even if it would be nice to visit. I'll tell Andrew about it in case he is looking for some temp work. I sign up for the 2 days in South Brattleboro, VT. I will need probably stay in Plymouth through 9/7 and drive up. It's too late for the details tonight, but I will look into arrangements tomorrow.

OK, so here is the update for this week.

Hims helped me take apart my ERG flow valve and clean it, I erased the check engine code and we'll see if it comes back on.

I found my laptop in the basement and brought it to the repair shop down the street, per the diagnostic the hard drive is fried, but the mother board remains in tack. $170 I really didn't have later and I now have the laptop I need.

I re-starting my adventure. I have to stay relatively local for a while, as I have my hypnotherapy training course for 8 consecutive Sundays staring Sept 11.


I start in West Springfield, MA for a 3 day stint starting 8/29. The pay is $11/hour. I will need a hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, and box knife. I will put this on my Wal-Mart charge.

I will stay in Northampton,so no need for much compromise yet. I am running this plan by all my beloved peeps.

There is a second job for one day starting on 8/1 in Glastonbury, CT for $11/hour. I sign up for that too.

In my Shadow Life I ran away.

Threw things in totes and the back seat of my car and abandoned the rest to claim some other day. Maybe Mom & Kelly will help - maybe it will be stolen or destroyed by the crazy lady upstairs.

I don't really have much money and my car isn't as reliable as I could hope for, not to mention my "living poor" skills are rusty at best - but its done and here I am.

I have my I-pod and a GPS. I need either a smart phone, I-Pad, or laptop ASAP.

There is work w/ SASR in Newville, PA for 3 days starting 8/22. I have completed the on-line application and talked to someone in HR regarding being a migrant worker so to speak. My first check should arrive in Plymouth in 3 weeks.I hope they approve me for the job. There is a second job in Lewes, DE starting 8/29, a four day gap, but relatively close. I apply for that position too.

I have to look up where the public libraries are in Newville, PA, because I don't have a laptop to check on the road.

Since I still have an address and paystubs, I will look in with Rent-a-Center about getting one.

I look into Temp agencies near Lewes, DE like Labor-Ready, as it seems the trail goes a bit cold, but that may just be because temp work s not notorious for its advance notice.

Some more Internet work will be required. Right now it looks like this is where I stand:
